Rules are simple:
- Use a MaxAmps Pack
- Distances must be measured out before the jump and be visible on video. (confirmed with tape measure or similar accurate measurement tool)
- All submissions must include the following in one take with no editing:

- An overview of the setup
- Confirmation of battery(s) used.
- Visible measurement of distance
- Camera needs to be focused on the RC before and during the entire jump
- Completed landing and drive away after are necessary
- Unlimited Class – Any land based RC vehicle up to 1/5th scale and any power system is acceptable.
- Entries on a hill or slope will not be accepted. (ramps can be up to 6ft in height)
- Precautions must be taken at all times during an attempt to ensure the safety of all people, animals, and property. Any attempts not being made with safety in mind will not be considered.
Contest ends on January 6th so get jumping! Submit your video to YouTube and title it “MaxAmps Long Jump Contest”. The crew here will check out your videos next week. The winner will receive a $250 gift card to spend at MaxAmps!
If you try and fail do not be discouraged! We are awarding a prize to the biggest fail on this attempt as well. Make sure to title any failed attempts as “MaxAmps Long Jump Fails”. The best fail will be featured on our Facebook page and will receive a conciliation prize.
