This charger is capable of balance charging two Lipo packs at once with no additional accessories to purchase. In this case, you can charge 2 separate but similar Lipo or LiFePO4/A123 packs as a single unit in "SYNC" mode to make packs up to 12S at 360W max charge power or you can charge two completely different packs in "SOLO" mode on each port at the same time.

This charger is carefully designed with many built-in safety features such as reverse polarity protection, input voltage error warning, and cell count mismatch warnings for lithium chemistry batteries.

I'm a 30+ year veteran of R/C. I love this charger. I think it's a great product and produces great power. I had an ice charger and a couple others. Using default setting this charger produces more power, faster charges and is more reliable than ANY of the other brands I have tried. When it says it's charged, I know it's charged. The storage mode is nice also. I go through spurts where I can't run for maybe 2 or 3 months. Nice peace of mind knowing I won't come back to a swelled $200 battery from improper storage. I have 10 maxamps battery packs and I sure want to make sure they are taken care of at the price. Having built in USB is nice also. The previous model was a bit of a mickey mouse rigging for programming. The Hyperion chargers are a great product for newbie or advanced users. I was behind the curve on brushless and LiPo with no knowledge of the product. The Maxamps team made it ridiculously easy to get started into brushless and this charger helped. Another product I can't say enough good about!

this is a must have if you race every weekend and travel to and from races! It is so powerful running off of a 45 amp power supply! This is a priceless tool when running 4s packs in 3 classes! Charge on!

I've had this charger since last summer and it's nothing short of amazing. I use it to charge my 2 8000mah 7.4V REVO batteries. I can charge them both at the same time @12A(1.5C). First time I was able to get two 8000mah packs charged in ~45 minutes, it blew my mind, and totally justified the price. Plus, if you have 2 high quality 5250 MA mah packs you can charge them at 3C! My only complaint was that it was a little confusing to get configured. But once I got it dialed in and saved, I was good to go! I'd also like to say that the Maxamps customer support was great. I had a lot of questions before pulling the trigger on this and a power supply and they answered them all with confidence and kindness. Thanks Maxamps!
