50 watt max(not great for high-capacity 4S-6S packs)
Lipo Storage mode(Allows fast and simple discharge to 60% capacity for proper storage voltage which equals longer battery life)

This charger balances your pack while it's charging.

Of course, the AC/DC part means that you can charge directly from an AC wall supply or from a 12V DC battery/power supply.

Charge and Discharge modes (and cycling for NIMH and NICD)

Clear and easy to read LCD screen with warnings for common setup errors.

Coming from old school chargers, and racing for over 20 years, I was reluctant to new charger technology. When I first got this charger I was a little scared of the amount of options that this charger has. But once you read a few pages of the instruction manual it all becomes clear and very easy to use. It charges my lipos properly all the time and since it does up to 14 nimh cells I can put on a series connector and charger both batteries for my E-maxx at once. I HIGHLY recommend this charger.

This charger is simple to use and does a super job. I charge Nimh and Lipo From 7cell 4700 packs for my EREVO to Lipo 860 and Lipo 5250. You can count on a full charge and long run time. For the money it can't be beat!

I have Five VXL's by Traxxas and SIX MaxAmp Batteries! I decided it was time to upgrade my charger. I decided to purchase a Hyperion AC/DC because of the flexibility. Two ways to charge and a balancer. Also you can charge all different styles of batteries. It's easy to use and program! The quality of the charger is outstanding!!! GREAT CHARGER JUST WHAT I EXPECTED FROM MAXAMPS!!!!!

This is the great charger. If you use the balancer when charging lipos the charger will only charge in the Lipo mode. GREAT feature to help prevent Lipo failure. I have used this charger to charge both NIMH's and Lipo's as well. I will get another one of these chargers.
