This charger balances your pack while it's charging.

Of course, the AC/DC part means that you can charge directly from an AC wall supply or from a 12V DC battery/power supply.

I have Five VXL's by Traxxas and SIX MaxAmp Batteries! I decided it was time to upgrade my charger. I decided to purchase a Hyperion AC/DC because of the flexibility. Two ways to charge and a balancer. Also you can charge all different styles of batteries. It's easy to use and program! The quality of the charger is outstanding!!! GREAT CHARGER JUST WHAT I EXPECTED FROM MAXAMPS!!!!!

This is the great charger. If you use the balancer when charging lipos the charger will only charge in the Lipo mode. GREAT feature to help prevent Lipo failure. I have used this charger to charge both NIMH's and Lipo's as well. I will get another one of these chargers.

Great product - with a great price - what a great combo. Great/easy product to use plus you don't have to lug around a seperate power supply since this charger works with both AC/DC inputs
